Fashion Week in Lodz,Poland

! The 8th Edition of Polish Fashion Week in Lodz !

Fashion Philosophy - Fashion Week Poland is the biggest fashion event in the East-Central Europe. The event takes place two times a year. Spring edition presenting Autumn - Winter trends has been scheduled to take place from April, 17th till April, 21st 2013.
I was glad to finally make it there and be in the middle of Polish Fashion. Its new, its exciting and different then we used to.
While strolling around and get inspired and see the new Collections of the Polish Designers, you are also able to buy the most of the things right away. So its kind of nice to take it with you at the same time without waiting for the season to start and the stores get it delivered.
The ideal place for discovering emerging talents and innovative collections, as well as engaging in heated debates is, the Showroom! 120 exhibitors catering for the needs of all Fashion Week participants have been divided into 3 categories: Designer Showroom - Brand Showroom - Vintage Showroom.
The Designer Avenue attracts leading Polish and international designers, as the centerpiece of the entire Fashion Week event. The true essence of Fashion Philosophy.

Interior Design

All Images from above from www.westwing.de

For the new Year I wanted to fresh up my Apartment and give it a little make over. While looking and searching for inspiration, details and new ideas for my home, I found so many incredible Interior Designs every where in Internet, Magazines and Books. These days where there is so much to choose from and so many different ways to style, even your own home, its really hard to stay on one topic and choose with which style I wanna go for the interior of my home.
While some people like the shabby chic and the others like colorful modern mix, me, personally I like to mix and match and would prefer get all the styles under one roof. For me its hard to decide, since I really like so many styles. In Fashion, I'm also that way. But in Fashion its easier to handle it, I wear one day military style and the other classic black dress. For my home, its more complicated then that, since I can´t change my interior every day or week or month.
I decided first to find out, what fits me best! What style represents my home the way I represent me?
On my way to find that out, I tried to see me in different interior styles to see if I could actually be comfortable with this style and this room, every day? Does it fits my every day needs?
So, this is what I'm going to find out and I will keep you posted!

Moving

The last kisses of sunshine. Last warm breeze and happy mood because the weather is great to go out. Before the cold and wet weather begins. Enjoy it.
I would love to go to sleep during the whole winter. No freezing for me.  Why I more then just enjoy the last sunny and warm days. Where you can wear a Dress without tights and still not freeze.
Days are moving and going by fast, at least it feels that way because of the early darkness in the evening and the late darkness in the morning.
But with all not so enjoyable changes comes also good. Like the Light Festival in Berlin. Which starts tonight. Thats when the whole city is lightening up with the most beautiful Light decorations on the famous buildings and even on trees. If you in town or planning to go you should hurry. The Festival of Lights is only till October 21th.

Gülbahar Kültür

Music is a main inspiration source we have these days. It brings you in a different mood the second you play it. It makes you feel the way it sounds and sometimes helps you concentrate and work better on your work place or like in my case on my projects, when I'm alone in my office until late night and try to get inspired and creative.
The right kind of music makes a big different´s, if I wanna stay up and work more or go to bed and see if the next day will bring me more ideas. That´s why, view times a month I like to take the time to download some new music or go into couple of stores to find out about new tracks or remixes made by local and global DJ´s. Usually I prefer male DJ´s, in my experience they do better music. I used to think that female DJ´s, or also called Djane´s, are less famous Stars who could´nt make it big, so decided to do music and put on music in the clubs where they still can be seen and still be in the scene.
Last Month while searching for new music in a local Store, I learned that I was wrong about the Djane situation. This is when I learned about Gülbahar Kültür, a Djane so international as her music style and so different as her lifestyle. She is born in Istanbul, Turkey. Grew up in Bremen, Germany.
She is a writer and writes books and Poetry in Turkish and German language. Since 1999 she cooperates with radios and plays her own style of Music ever since, oriental music samples and also does her own remix tracks for the Radios, later also in Clubs. She works together with Turkish singers and artists and brings out a couple of successful remix tracks and CD´s.
In September 26th, 2012 her newest work, a CD Track called "United colors of Words Vol.1" came out.  It´s a mix of Cultures and Music styles.
 I just love it!

Friday is in my office a slower working day.
That´s where I have time to drink my morning Black Tea mixed with peppermint tea and with a slice of fresh lemon and go through Magazines and Internet and find some interesting New Arrivals in Stores or pick out places where I wanna go.
Usually I find so many interesting things and websites that I
don´t know who to start with.
But today I got lost in the magic of Mary Katrantzon Design.
The Dresses, Blouses and Skirts made out of Silk with amazing prints on the fabric. There is not much Accessories you need to it, because everything is going to get lost next to those enchanted pieces!
Also a great find was the Necklace from Hoss Intropia. And I think the only jewelry you should where to the Mary Katrantzon Collection are the delicate pieces from Tiffany´s.

Ye Yé Boutique

Back then in the early 60´s Yeyé was as a style of pop music that emerged from France, Québec and Spain.
The style expanded worldwide, due to the success of figures such as the French singer-songwriter Serge Gainsbourg

These days Ye Yé is a very Hip Concept Store in Mexico in the heart of the city Mazatlan!
In the hip and trendy area of Mazatlan you will find a Store that from outside, does not fit the typical Stores of Mexico.

Its the Owner of the Store Emma Escobar, who put her heart, her vision and her creativity in this unique Store that has a flair of a Parisian Boutique with a mix of international and Mexican modern Style and the Beach Flair Style of the city.
Mazatlan is located right on the Beach of the Pacific Ocean.
Everything from outside the store like the Door and the Window Display and the inside such as Table and the fitting room is Hand Made by Mexican local Artisans.
In the Store you will find Hip and trendy cloth and unique Accessories. Newest Styles and Vintage Flair.
Everything hand picked by the owner herself.

With her international Education and living abroad, in France and Italy, she brought a little flair and style of Europe into her store and hopefully soon, we will get a little Mexico to Europe!

The Store does not have a online Shop yet, but its coming soon! Until then feel free to contact the Store over Facebook for any further information or maybe even for online Orders over Facebook. Meanwhile, you can check out some of the styles in this post.
